Originally built in the 17th century the earliest record of a farmhouse in this location dates back to 1608. Work began to create 3 cottages from the large farmhouse in 2006, this work was completed in early 2008 and the cottages are now fully equipped and ready house visitors to the area. Anybody who stays in the cottages also has use of the large garden area which includes a small orchard.

The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley

Located in the western part of Gloucestershire, The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley lies close to the border with Wales and is within easy access of the M4, M5 and M50 motorways, as well as many major roads and is under an hour from Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

The Forest of Dean covers more than 27,000 acres of ancient woodland between the River Wye and River Severn, and was designated a National Forest Park in 1938.

The Wye valley AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) lies between the border of England and Wales. The River Wye is one of the cleanest and most beautiful in Great Britain and threads its way through some of the most attractive and rich landscapes in Britain.
